Windows 10: kmode_exception_not_handled

I got an error message while my computer was on that my fan wasn't working right and that the system would shut down. I checked my fan and it seems to be working fine. After restarting however, I get in an endless loop of blue screens with the error "kmode_exception_not_handled"


Looking around online I found a number of solution videos, but none or them have worked so far. I tried startup repair, nothing. I tried scanning the drives from the command prompt, and it says I have errors on the drive, but it won't let me attempt repair, saying its read only, and the solutions I found in order to remove that were ineffective. Safe mode still encounters the same error as well. Finally I reset the PC entirely, and while it will let me sign in and work, it goes back to blue screen with the same error after a few minutes.


Not really sure what else I can do at this point, and due to the coronavirus the wait time on appointments to bring it in to Best Buy are sitting around 4-5 days just to get an appointment, and who knows how long if they need to send it back to the manufacturer. Any suggestions?

Windows 10 KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED blue screen, happens daily.

The KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED bug check has a value of 0x0000001E. This indicates that a kernel-mode program generated an exception which the error handler did not catch.

I suggest you to refer the link suggested by
