Windows 10: [KMS] How to remove kms server/dns records completely.

I recently used kms activation to activate my office, but right now I am willing to remove all the settings and changes which were made to my machine while running that msguides script to activate office,

I am not sure that the port and host assigned could be removed by the procedure mentioned in

KMS Removal

Have an old KMS host that somehow keeps popping up in DNS. How can i remove this service without removing the server? This was setup by another user on a DC. I have a new server setup and working but this one keeps popping in DNS and causing issues.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

KMS is usually a corporate in-house situation, so tracking is irrelevant.

If you happened to buy an Office (Pro) license that requires KMS activation you most likely have a bootleg copy.

Your computer sends a license validation requestion to the KMS Server. The server needs to get back in touch with you, so it needs to know where you are.

AFIK the KMS Server has no other rights or privileges on your computer.

 

Windows 2016 KMS server and Windows 2016 Datacenter KMS license

Hi,

I configured KMS on Windows 2016 server, i added and activated Win 2016 Datacenter KMS license, i would like know if this license will cover clients OS too: Windows 10, Windows 7..... I tried add Win 10 KMS license but it gives me error?
