Windows 10: Known and Resolved issues for Windows 10 version 21H1

Current status as of May 18, 2021
Windows 10, version 21H1 is available for users with devices running Windows 10, versions 2004 and higher who manually seek to “Check for updates” via Windows Update. The recommended servicing status is Semi-Annual Channel. Customers running either Windows 10, version 2004 or version 20H2 who choose to update to the new release will have a fast installation experience because the update will install like a monthly update.

I just tweaked it a little to minimize registry edits, added a backup, and documented the steps from start to finish.

After attempting the repair install , I've just looked at the Compatdata XML files in the Windows.~BT/Sources/Panther directory.
The very last one shows a hard block due to setup "Hostisnewer" which to me would suggest the "Host" is the installed Windows 10 version and the 20H2iso is showing as an older version even after it has connected to MS and downloaded updates.
