Windows 10: Kobo mini e-reader N705

Hi, my kobo is discontinued, and says to download kobo app on pc to download books on my mini. I have the books on the pc, but says my mini and pc are two different accounts, and wont let me sync. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Hello,

I am suffering from the same problem: Since the major Windows update, my Kobo Reader is not recognized in Windows Explorer, and thus it is not available to the Kobo application or Adobe Digital Editions.

In Explorer, the Reader is given a drive letter, which shows "Please insert a disk" when clicked

The devicemanager does identify the device as an Ereader: under Portable Devices the dive letter is shown, with under Properties-> General->manufacturer "Kobo", and under Properties-> driver details "eReader-3.19.576"

So I conclude that the Win10 update caused this, and I'd like Microsoft to fix this with high priority, as my Ereader is now not usable anymore.

The problem you've encountered with your Kobo e-reader could be related to compatibility. There's a possibility that some changes made on you computer may have caused this. For us to isolate this problem, we would like to ask the following:

• Were there any changes made prior to the issue?
• Did you install any updates recently?
• Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Kobo e-reader?
