Windows 10: Kodi Users -- Do not upgrade to 18.X keep 17.1

Hi folks

If you use Kodi the latest update (18.x) is a disaster -- also it won't play previously ripped DVD's to iso's -- I kept a lot of older DVD's as iso's because these can play as the originals with menus as well

Stick to 17.1 -- even 17.6 play back of normal movies etc (mkv/mp4 etc) gets slightly "jerky" however you tinker with the settings.

V17.1 works just fine -- nothing wrong with it on all fronts.

I use it on remote TV's with Amazon fire TV boxes as well --easy way to install is install on android phone then use apps2firetv to remote load from phone to amazon fire tv box. Play back on Windows / Linux plays more codecs than VLC (adio and video) and saves using things like plexmediaserver for serving multimedia --just share files via normal network sharing (samba etc).

I'm sure KODI will fix rel 18 but currently it's a disaster zone !!!!!

With regard to your query about pop up programs during startup, we suggest that you follow these steps below to disable startup programs.

• Press Windows + X keys.
• Select Task Manager.
• Click on the Startup Tab.
• Look for the kodi file or application, then select Enable or
  Disable.
