Windows 10: KVM Switch PC1 not work but PC2 is after windows update

I have been using this KVM switch for around 4-5 years now. At the beginning of the year a received my new work laptop, Which is Windows 11. Everything has been working fine until April 9th. I was done working of the night and I saw the Desktop needed to restart for some updates. KVM not recognizing PC1 monitor

I have a kvm for my work laptop and home desktop. When I switch to home desktop (pc2), the monitors work fine. When I switch to the work laptop (pc1), one of the monitors occasionally doesn’t register (it’s always the same monitor that does not register). Typically, unplugging things and replugging several times seems to fix the issue (I don't know if the order of unplug and re-plug matters). It's a bit unpredictable when it'll not work. Is this something others have encountered? Is there a permanent fix? thank you!

To better assist you, please provide me with more details regarding your setup. Can you please provide the model of your KVM switch and the monitors?

Also, please let me know how the monitors are connected to the KVM switch and the work laptop (PC1).

In the meantime, you can try some general troubleshooting steps, such as updating the drivers for your graphics card and monitor, and ensuring that all the cables are securely connected. Also, try switching the cables or using a different port on the KVM switch to see if the issue persists.

 

Microsoft Sculpt Keyboard won't connect to Windows 10 Pro through Lindy KM Switch after upgrade from Win7 Pro

Previous configuration: Logitech MX Ergo Trackball (wireless) and Microsoft Sculpt Keyboard (wireless): both bluetooth receivers plugged into Lindy KM switch (2 Port USB KM Switch). PC1 to a Win7 SP1
Pro machine and PC2 to a Win7 SP1 Pro Machine.

Upgrade PC1 to Win10 Pro. Leave PC2 alone.

Through the Lindy KM switch:

Logitech MX Ergo Trackball works on both PC1 and PC2.

Microsoft Sculpt Keyboard works on PC2 but not on PC1 which was upgraded. I have switched the USB cables coming from the Lindy KM switch, and both the Logitech Trackball and Microsoft Keyboard continue to work on PC2. Only the Logitech Trackball works
on PC1 after the upgrade. I have tried multiple USB ports on PC1 without luck.

Connect Microsoft Sculpt Keyboard directly to PC1 and it works. Connect back to KM switch, and it doesn't work.

I have reinstalled the Microsoft keyboard center software, and it seems to detect the keyboard, but I am unable to use the keyboard (keypresses don't register). I have downgraded the Win10 driver from the Microsoft to a standard HID compliant keyboard to
no avail.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
