Windows 10: Kyocera KX Driver for Universal Printing takes over the default UI for changing the printer...

Im trying to change the driver of a printer with this driver installed, on a Server 2019. But when i right click on the printer, click properties to be able to go to the advanced tab to be able to change the driver, i do not get the default UI opening when clicking properties. I get some Kyocera window with other settings, with nowhere to change the driver of the print object. I cannot seem to access the default UI so i can change the driver on this printer. Ive tried via the device manager, right clicking on the printer and clicking update driver but that seem to just install the printer loca

Canon is the first manufacturer to releases Universal Print ready printers, and has an extensive set of printers available today. Canon releases models with native support for Universal Print at a consistent pace and more are expected throughout this year. Keep an eye on their listing for existing and new models on their lists.

HP will soon release their new ‘HP for Universal Print’ Workpath app, that delivers integration with Universal Print on all printing devices that support Workpath. The HP for Universal Print Workpath app modernizes the print experience to give users simple, driverless printing. Their target release date is summer 2021.

Kyocera is expected to release their first set of Universal Print ready printers by late summer and more in early fall 2021.

print on Kyocera KM- 2560 from new HP Windows 10

Please try the steps recommended below to uninstall printer software

Press Windows key + X, click Apps & Features or Programs and Features

Select your Kyocera printer.

Select Uninstall.

Press Windows key + R, type control, hit Enter

Open Devices and Printers.

In the Devices and Printers window look for your Kyocera Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”

Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.

Type printui.exe /s and click OK.

Click on Drivers tab.

Look for Kyocera Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.

Select OK.

Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.

Close Devices and Printers.

Proceed to reinstall the driver.

Please help for printer KX-P1624 error

Hi all,

Can help me for the below msg , i can not use my printer when finish update windows 10 on yesterday.

"There might be problems with Panasonic KX-P1624. Windows will take additional steps to further troubleshoot."

I am working on putting that printer on a win 7 pro system and I went to this site.

Panasonic KX KX-P 1624 Printer Drivers just today and down loaded the driver_setup and
there is a scan pgm also. I will have to get them off this computer and put them on the win 7 pc and then try
