Windows 10: Labtec Wireless Connection Problem on Windows 10

My issue is that I have a Labtec wireless mouse which is perfectly working without any problem.I have tried it in previous PCs and there was no problem with the connection.But when i turn on my bluetooth and try to connect it,a little window appears and says that There was an error and advised me to update my driver software but I dont know how to update it.Can you give me some instructions to make the mouse working?

I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned in the following link:

Also applies to Windows 10.

If the issue persist, I suggest you to un-install the current version of wireless card driver installed and then try to download and install wireless card drivers from your computer manufacturer website and check.

Follow the steps on how to un-install the wireless card driver.

  Select Device Manager.
  
• 
  Expand Network adaptors.
  
• 
  Right click on wireless card driver and select
  Un-install.
  

Windows will prompt you to confirm the device’s removal. Click
OK to remove the driver.

After the un-installation is complete, reboot your computer as soon as possible.

Computer will load the network adaptor card. Now you may check with the issue.

If the above steps doesn't help, I suggest you to login to other computer which has internet connectivity, visit the computer manufacturer website of the issue computer and then download the latest driver
for the wireless card and save it to a external flash drive. Once you successfully save the drivers setup file, insert the flash drive on the issue computer and then try to install the drivers and check with the issue.

One of the common causes of wireless mouse issues is incompatibility. So, the first thing that you need to do is to ensure your mouse is compatible with Windows 10. Most new models should be. However, if the mouse is more than five years old, chances are
that it isn’t compatible with Windows 10. In such case, a complete replacement is the only solution.

If the mouse is of a recent make and is still not responding, the other option for you will be to ensure the wireless receiver is attached to a port that is working or has adequate power. Try changing you ports and see if it makes any difference. Ensure
that you attach the receiver to your PC's native port instead of an external port.

Often times, reconnecting the wireless connector can also help. With the PC running, detach the receiver, wait for about 10 seconds and reattach it. Also, check if the battery within the mouse has enough juice in it before you move on to advanced troubleshooting
steps.

If the steps mentioned above did not help, go to the official website of the mouse manufacturer and download the latest driver manually. After downloading the latest driver, follow these steps:

1. Launch Device Manager (press Windows key +
   X on the keyboard).
2. Locate and expand Mice and other pointing device.
3. Right-click on your wireless mouse and click on the Update driver option.
4. In the window that appears next, select Browse my computer for driver software.
   
5. Provide the path where the software is located for Windows to install it.
6. Restart when prompted.
