Windows 10: Lack of functional folders for TRASH, Junk, or Delete in my Windows 10 Yahoo Mail

I recently updated to windows 10 and have found that I do not have a Trash, Junk, or Delete file. Because of this I have had some important emails get lost, and/or I never received them because the system decided that the emails were spam and just deleted them. How can I remedy this? Thanks

Emails Junk mail & Trash

Cannot empty the Trash can & the junk mail folder from the mobile, resulting in > 9000 e mails. But when I log in by Laptop the Trash can & junk mail folders are empty

It looks to me that this takes 3 clicks. After clicking on the junk mail folder, click the 4 lines icon at the top, then you can click the one box next to the word "Junk" at the top left of the list of emails. Then click the trash can at the top and all
are deleted. This is still stupid though, as it puts all emails in my deleted items folder, rather than simply destroying them like windows Live mail did. Makes it kind of hard to find a deleted email from my normal inbox. Microsoft, Fix this please.

 

Empty Trash and Junk Folder in Windows 10 Mail app with a single click

This is easy! This procedures works for Trash and the Junk (Spam) folders! Just substitute the Junk folder for the Trash in the steps below.

1. On the left, select the account that you wish to delete the trash for.

2. On the left, select Folders.

3. A submenu will appear.

4. Select Trash.

5. The Trash folder will appear.

6. At the top-left of the Trash folder you will see an icon that looks like four horizontal lines with two check marks just to the left of the four lines. This icon allows for checking multiple emails for deletion.

7. Select this icon.

8. Check boxes will appear.

9. Check the box next to the Trash folder title. This will select all emails in the Trash folder.

10. Press the delete key.

11. All email in the Trash folder will delete. Be aware! It does not present a dialog box that asks you to confirm your action.

12. An undo button will briefly appear in read at the bottom of the Trash folder!
