Windows 10: lag in window opening

Windows 11 23H2 22631.3880Has anyone else noticed the "delay" in Windows Security page opening? You go to the taskbar and click on the Windows Security Icon, it'll open a white window and about 1-2 seconds later it will populate that page. Any ideas on why this is happening? I would have uploaded a video of this however a reduced video 1.5Mb won't even upload. oh well just another problem with Microsoft.

Random lag spikes

Hi,

We would like to know more about your lag issue:

• What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
• Does the lag occur in a particular game?

In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Windows Lag & Game Lag after opening games.

Hey so I've been having this problem for a while and I've tried lots of things to try and fix it which none of them have worked.

• Clean installed windows twice
• Reinstalled through a flash drive
• Tried different Ram and Graphics cards

I don't believe it is a hardware problem but when I open games, and I return to the windows desktop while the program is still running. Windows Icons are very delayed when I hover over them and slow to respond. But as soon as I close the program the issue
goes away and the icons are back and smooth again.

Specs:

• Rtx 2060 Super
• 32gb Ram
• Amd threadripper 1920x
• corsair 850 watt psu
• 64bit Windows Pro

Anything helps this problem is so unbearable because not only does windows lag but the game lags as well no matter what i'm playing. When I first purchased this computer I was not getting any lag at all this problem came out of no where.
