Lag spikes every minute for ~5sec when streaming with Windows 10 Mobile Hotspot

Hi,I've been having this issue for a while now, where a constant lag occurs every 60 seconds about 4-5 seconds long without fail when streaming games from my laptop to other devices. I prefer to use a hotspot connection for local streaming since it’s more reliable in my case. It took me some time to figure out how to enable the Windows 10 built-in Hotspot without requiring an internet connection as my laptop doesn’t support hosted network, and since then I've had little luck finding a satisfying solution to the ping spike issue I'm experiencing now.I at least pinpointed the general root of

Choose which adapter to use for mobile hotspot on Windows 10

When a device has multiple wifi adapters, is it possible to select which one is used for Windows 10's mobile hotspot feature?

I am trying to connect my tablet directly to my laptop for better performance in in-home streaming (Steam Link iOS app). However, when both the laptops's connection to the internet and its hotspot use the builtin Wifi hardware, I am experiencing significant stuttering. In terms of a ping from tablet to laptop I am seeing lost packages and latency spikes.

After connecting a USB Wifi adapter I have noticed, that Windows 10 will still use the builtin wifi hardware for creating the hotspot.

Is it possible to tell Windows 10 to use the builtin Wifi adapter for connecting to the internet, and the USB-adapter for providing the hotspot?

    Workaround (limited/inconvenient)

Since posting the question I found, that I can work around the problem by connecting the USB Wifi-Adapter to the home-wifi. Enabling mobile hotspot then (presumably) uses the built-in wifi adapter, allowing the following topolocgy:

It isn't a full solution however, as I can attach a more powerful antenna to the USB-Adapter, but not to the built-in adapter, for streaming across room boundaries. Additionally, when pluggin in the USB adapter this way instead of only enabling the hotspot, more steps are needed:

    • Disable the connection of the builtin-adapter to the Home wifi
    • Enable connection of the USB Adapter to the Home wifi
    • Enable mobile hotspot.

Shutter lags/Lag spikes on Windows 10

    Hello,
I'm having rough times with my PC, I recentely remplaced one of my 2 hard-drives with a SSD and installed my windows folders into it.
I have lag spikes almost every 5 seconds or so or shutter lags, i don't know how to call them.
I already tried to reset my PC but it didn't fixed the problem. I have also uptated all my PC drivers and tried to desactivate "SysMain" to solve the problem like I saw from forums.
I have the feeling that I have tried everything but I really need help since I already tried most of the solutions i found on internet.

My PC details are linked with this post.

Some specifications about the lags :

They happen every 5sec or so and freeze both of my screen and the computer audio for about 0,2 sec.
They happen even when no applications are opened.
