Windows 10: Lag/ stutters after recent windows update

I started noticing freezes and buffers while using my laptop after the recent windows 10 update. Problems would include my mouse taking a while to move to its designated spot for random 1-second intervals, whatever I typed would take a while to display, and freezes and lags in games. I thought it was a problem with my drivers so I clicked through them trying to update them but they were all up to date. I have also tried the recovery PC reset option because I thought it was one of my apps or downloads but that still didn't help. There was an option in the update tab in windows settings for driver updates but they also didn't help. I have a gaming laptop and I can't even game properly anymore, so If anybody has any advice to offer then I would greatly appreciate it.

Stuttering in windows 10

After i recently updated the windows framework drivers from windows update, my laptop seems to randomly start stutter.

During which, everything, even the mouse pointer seems to experience some kind of lag.

It doesn't go away until I've restarted the device.

Any and all suggestions and help is appreciated.

 

Typing Lag after recent update

The issue might be driver-related. Check if there is an update that might have been missed after the recent update. To do this, follow the instructions below:

• Type Device Manager from the taskbar search box.
• Go to Keyboards.
• Double click on your keyboard device. A mini window will appear.
• Go to the Driver tab and check if there is an update that needs to be installed.

You can also try to use the other USB ports and see if there will be any difference.
