Re: All boot options are tried...

    Hi Elda,

If the boot sequence didn't work, then we suggest try running the laptop in safe mode. To do this, here's a few steps to follow:

    • Power down your laptop.
    • Turn it back on again.
    • When you turn it back on, press F8 repeatedly until the power on option appeared.
    • If you see the boot option "Safe Mode with Networking", choose that option.
    • See if you can boot up in Safe mode.

We'll look forward to your response.

lag when Press F12 boot option

F12 Boot Options and Blue Progress Bar Show Up On Every Reboot

    Model: Dell 8940
    OS: Win 10, Win11 21H2 Pro

Drives: Bootable Win10 Factory NVMe drive (PC SN730 NVMe WDC 1024GB)
    Bootable Win11 SATA (CT1000BX500SSD1)
    Data Drive SATA (WDC WD30EZRX-00D8PB0)

Upon booting the computer I can hit F12 and select Win10 or Win11. Both OS's work normally and, upon normal reboot, the system remembers the last OS to boot.

The issue is, without pressing F12, the '"F12 BOOT OPTIONS" text and Blue Progress Bar show up on every boot (either OS).

I created the Win11 drive by cloning the Win10 drive and then using a DVD to install Win11 on the clone drive.

I looked in the BIOS and didn't recognize any problems, for what that's worth!

    Any suggestions would be appreciated!

    Jim
