Windows 10: Lag when switching from game to windows.

So I noticed another post on this that google took me too, but it was from 2 years ago and archived. Which I hate, as I cannot ask questions myself. My issue is once I switch I get this incredible lag. I notice at certain times it doesn't seem to happen. If I'm not in story mode. Etc. But that's not always the case as well. So I'm in windowed fullscreen. I just wont play a game in windowed mode. I think it looks dumb. But I'm really not sure what the cause of the issue is, or how to fix it, and where to start.

Random lag spikes

• What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
• Does the lag occur in a particular game?

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
