Hello fellow gamers, I'm an avid gamer who enjoys playing games on my trusty 24-inch gaming monitor. However, I've been encountering some frustrating lagging issues during my gaming sessions, and I suspect that cleaning my hard disk might help resolve the problem. Unfortunately, I've run into a roadblock while attempting to clean my hard disk using the Windows 11 antivirus software. Windows 11 Video lags in background

Hi,

I have a 2 monitor setup and I usually play my videos on my second monitor while gaming on my first monitor. On windows 10, it has no such issues. On windows 11, i noticed that the video starts lagging when i start playing games. I have done a fresh and clean install of windows 11 and a clean install of my Nvidia graphics driver and still had this issue.

Any solutions to this?

 

Card games lagging!

If it's an online game, the lag issue may have been caused by your Internet connection. It can also occur due to the game server issue. We'll need to gather a bit more information to better identify what's causing this. Kindly answer the following:

• Have you made any changes prior to this issue?
• What card game are you having issues with?
• Is the issue the same with other games?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far to resolve the issue?

W7 Hard drive partition issue

to get rid of that 100 meg windows partition that setup creates for you on a new install on a blank hdd:

- press shift+f10 when on the partition management screen in setup <-- this opens a command prompt
- diskpart <-- start the windows command line partition management tool
- list disk <--- list the installed hdds in this computer for the next step
- select disk 0 <- might have to replace 0 with the number of the correct disk
- clean <-- this will erase all data on the disk you selected one step up- dont use the wrong disk!
- create partition primary <- creates a primary partition taking up all space on the drive, adjust the command if necessary
- exit, exit to exit diskpart and the command prompt
- click refresh in partition manager and select your newly created partition and install to that
