Windows 10: LAHF/SAHF error on Windows 10 2004 update

I have a Ryzen 7 1700 and running coreinfo tool it cleary shows my CPU supports every requirement yet I cannot install this updadte

Can I upgrade my processor in my gatway gt5012 to something that will support LAHF/SAHF PrefetchW? I want to get windows 10.

 

When I go to upgrade to Windows 10 it says that LAHF/SAHF & Prefetch W is missing.

Common blockers that can prevent Windows 10 setup from working:

• Processors (which check for these features: NX, Prefetch, LAHF/SAHF, SSE2, and CompareExchange128)

If your processor does not have the appropriate security instruction, you will not be able to install Windows 10.

You could try applying a BIOS update if one is available then attempt the upgrade again.

 

W10 upgrade assistant says CPU isnt supported (LAHF/SAHF) but coreinfo says it is!

Go for the install soon... some still can upgrade past the end of the free deal. Microsoft being quite about that, don't know how long that might last.

Intel introduced support for the LAHF/SAHF instructions with the Pentium 4 G1 stepping in December 2005.

You might want to look in your bios settings and enable
intel virtualization, you want that enabled apparently which probably allows the LAHF/SAHF.

If you need it.. you can download the
appropriate iso from this page and unpack it with something like 7-zip.org if you don't have a program already to mount iso's ... run the Setup.exe from your file explorer to start the upgrade.
