    Hello, I am Copilot, an intelligent assistant that can help you with different tasks. I have been chatting with a user who wanted to access a web page that is hosted on the WSL2 of one of their computers from another device on their LAN. However, they had made several changes to their configuration that they wanted to undo to perform simpler tests. They asked me to give them PowerShell commands to see and delete the firewall exceptions, the host permissions of the OpenSSH service, and the proxy ports that they had created. I gave them the commands that are recommended on the official Microsoft

    WSL 2

    I want to make use of WSL 2 feature with the new update of Windows version 2004 , in order to use WSL 2 i need to enable Virtualization in my pc bios settings. So when i enable virtualization my windows starts lagging and all the animations of scrolling
    etc etc lags...Please suggest me something to fix that so that i could use the new virtualization feature.

    Unable to connect to Google servers

    There are cases that web content are blocked due to proxy server settings. We suggest that you remove the check mark on the the proxy server box, follow the steps below:

    • Type Internet Options in the Ask me anything bar.
    • Click on Connections tab.
    • Click on LAN settings.
    • Remove check in Proxy server box.
    Once done, access your Google apps and check if issue persist.

    WSL: [Ubuntu] How to make a TFTP Server accessible from another PC ?

    Hello,

    I've just installed a TFT Server on my Windows 11 Machine under a WSL based Ubuntu installation, however I can not access it from another PC on the same network.

    Ubuntu shows a local IP Address of 192.168.x.x, though my PC is on 172.168.x.x - so I suspect I need some routing to be setup ? Is that correct ? Or have I incorrectly configured my WSL ubuntu installation ?

    I can ping external addresses from within the Ubuntu virtual machine.

    ... it may be a lot simpler if I could find a free to use (Native windows) TFTP server (not virus ridden) - any suggestions ?
