    I am currently operating a 100mbit connection, which up until 2 days ago gave me approx. 40mbit down and 15mbit up using wifi and approx. 70mbit down and 15mbit up using a powerline connection.

    No hardware or software changes were made, other than the latest Win10 update.

    Ever since the update I am getting exactly 8.39mbit down and 8.40 mbit up, regardless whether I use the wifi or powerline connection.

    Anyone facing the same issue, or has an idea how to fix this ?

    Upload speed capped on windows 10

    I'm using ADSL like you suggested, I'm also using the talktalk wifi-hub, however I have also tried with the talktalk super-router and am receiving the same issue. Upload speed is being capped at 7.9mbps.

    glad that help. but too sad. i could understand that wires must be buried or something. i suggest changing socket first. could be lan sockets.
