Windows 10: LAN Atheros file ended up on my desktop

LAN Atheros file ended up on my desktop in a winRAR zip file...what should I do with it? I've had iit sitting on my desktop for many months afraid to touch it. It used to be in a 7-Zip file but after Ideleted that app and downloaded winRAR it took over. Then I deleted wRAR and re-installed 7-zip it remained inthe wRAR format.... Scared to touch it. Good LAN party games?

Most of my suggestions have already been listed.

However, I found Swat4 to actually be a pretty fun LAN game, especially at smaller LAN parties.

I would to suggest to reinstall the following drivers

• Intel chipset
• Atheros wireless LAN

 

windows 10 deleted my desktop files

Step 1 - I upgraded to Win 10 and lost all my files on Desktop.

Step 2 - Found the files in Network - USers- Desktop

copied all files again to desktop.

Step 3- Restarted my machine again and lost desktop files again.

Step 4 - As suggested did the following as listed below but dont find my files.

• Press “Windows + E”, open This PC/Computer
• Open Local Disc C, open Windows.old
• Click on Users, select your User name
• Go to desktop folder

Cant find my files. Why is Win 10 deleted files again and again from Desktop ?.
