  1. LAN or Ethernet Connector failures

I recently bought a computer and installed windows 10 pro on it. I bought the license and activated it and everything was going perfectly. But one day the internet the computer only works with cable started to fail. I thought it was the coverage of the modem but I brought my laptop on the same table and received the signal perfectly from the same cable so it must have been a computer failure. I tried everything: reinstalling drivers, updating windows, drivers, trying old versions, forcing IPv4 from the BIOS... And nothing worked. Windows told me that the cable was connected and that it received a signal but that IPv6 could not load the network. A very unusual failure so I tried to solve it from Windows itself with: the cmd and the execution of countless commands, restoring the default network, forcing the DNS and IP addresses of my internet service and my modem and nothing worked. Windows always told me to restart the modem... To this day I still can't find a solution and I have had to buy a USB Wireless to connect to the Wifi although in this way I lose 70% of the speed that should arrive by cable. I am convinced that the failure must be either by Windows or by the motherboard, but if the connector is brand new and the computer detects the network I prefer it to be a Windows failure.

Please don't give me the typical answers of: Update the driver, run cmd, uninstall the driver from the device manager, etc. I've been trying all these solutions for 48 hours and I can't find a solution. I would appreciate it if it was a failure of the new Windows uptade and not the IPv6 chip on the motherboard. But I am still looking for a solution to this unexplainable fault without it costing me a lot of money. Thanks for helping me <3

    :)

    Good LAN party games?

Most of my suggestions have already been listed.

However, I found Swat4 to actually be a pretty fun LAN game, especially at smaller LAN parties.

    What is App Connector...?

Right, you might not be a developer but at some point you might use a 3rd party UWP App.

The UWP Skype App needs access to your camera and your microphone ... while not a 3rd party App, Skype might not have access to those without App Connector - not sure, just an example.

The Google App (Ok Google) needs to access your microphone.

Instead of everyone writing their own access, getting permissions, etc, their Apps ask the App Connector to service their requests.

This approach is nothing new to Android users, when an Android App gets installed, it lists the permissions it requires. You either accept them or cancel the install. Most people accept and install the App. MS might be trying to get past that one install step by granting the permissions to the App Connector. The permissions are listed on the App page in the Store - nothing nefarious, just eliminating a step.

Keep in mind - this is all conjecture on my part - no hard evidence did I find *Wink
