Windows 10: Language Bar pop-up after updating to 1903.

Hello dear users!

Long story short (after countless battles with language bar) I noticed there is a small annoying popup appears when I switch languages. It started after updating windows to 1903.

I installed 1903 because Xbox program wanted me to (wanted to test new xbox pass), so after I installed it, it really gave me another journey, but well, an unexpected one. Fierce battle for something I cant control over is pretty annoying. The question is simple... Can I somehow get rid of that popup or not? Or should I just uninstall the update and forget about the idea of checking how great new xbox pass is? picture below:





Some of you might say "It's easy not to switch languages, just live with it". But well, when you write messages on both languages... That popup is really annoying

Not to mention first hours after update I had no idea whats going on and had thought my monitor is flickering

Well I have hopes that it'll be fixed (Microsoft really fixed alotta stuff last years). Or else I dunno, just downgrade to the previous version.

Language bar is gone in windows 10

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if the issue persists.

• Press Windows + X keys and select Control Panel.
• Search Language and select it.
• Left side pane select Advanced settings.
• Under Switching Input methods check mark "Use the desktop language bar when its available."
• Click Save. Check if the issue persists.

Windows 10 - Language bar is missing after MSRA connection

2. What is the build version of Windows 10 you are using?
   

However, I suggest you to try this below method, and check if that helps.

Step: Check Language Bar is Hidden.

1. Press Windows logo and I key, open Settings
2. Click on Devices
3. Select Typing
4. Select the option Advanced keyboard settings
5. Then select Language bar options
6. Check the box: Show text labels on the Language bar
7. Then select the Language Bar tab and make sure that the
   Docked in the taskbar option is checked.
8. Click on Apply and OK to exit, and check if that helps.

Language bar is missing


I did a clean install of Windows 10 not long ago and now my language bar is missing. In addition, the alt-shift shortcut for changing keyboard layouts does not work. I have checked all my control panel settings and also added a registry entry to launch ctfmon.exe, as per the instructions here, but I still have the problem. Can anyone suggest a solution? Thanks!

Edit: The problem only occurs with one account. When logged into my troubleshooting account I can see the language bar.
