Windows 10: Language bar still hiding after many years

    Language bar still hiding after many years


    HiI had opened this question in the old forum many years ago, they tried to give me some workarounds, but they never really fixed the issue since windows 10 and persisting with 11.The issue: if you use multiple languages and keyboards like me you often need to change language that you can do by choosing the keyboad in the taskbar tray. This is sometimes annoying because sometimes, but consistently for many years the language bar shifts position as it expands in the moment you click on it, so you always end up hitting some other icon in the traybar. It should rather shift-expand-contract when o

    Turn Language Bar OFF (hide it)


    Hello, I'd like to hide the language bar, as I did with Win7. Currently I have 2 keyboard layouts installed (German, which I use and English) My display language is English, and it seems I cannot remove the English keyboard layout (is it true? suggestions?) Under Win7, when only one layout was installed the Language bar would disappear automatically: any Idea about how to hide it in my case? Thanks for supporting, Marco
