Windows 10: Language in Langauge Bar, but not Settings: Windows 1903

Meaning: I am stumped.


I chose 2 languages when I installed Windows: English United States and Hebrew.

• I uninstalled Hebrew via Settings, and it no longer shows there:

• Here's the problem: Hebrew is still an option in the Input Indicator

• It's also in the Language Bar

Solutions I've tried:

• Going to Get-WinUserLanguageList PowerShell only shows "en-US," which eliminatesthis popular solution.
• Going to lpksetup /u Command Prompt doesn't show Hebrew

One user had a similar problem that was resolved link, but it involved going to "Language" in the Control Panel and I don't have that as an option, seemingly because of a known bug in Windows 1803 carried over into 1909?described here:



I've restarted my computer.


Bottom line: Is there a way to remove Hebrew from the Input Indicator and Language Bar when it doesn't show in Settings or PowerShell?

Issues with changing language settings to Urdu langauge on Windows 10.

Thank you for your response with the current update on the issue.

I suggest you to remove and re-add the Urdu language pack from the computer. Check if it helps.

1. Click on Search bar.

2 Type "Language" without the quotes in the search bar and click on it.

3. Click on Urdu language from the list and then click on Remove button.

4. After that, then re-add the Urdu language
by clicking on Add a language.

5. Search for Urdu language pack from the list and download the language pack.

After re-adding the Urdu language, please make sure that Language bar is enabled on the language settings as posted in the previous pot.

Language bar is gone in windows 10

I understand that the Language Bar is not found in Windows. We will help you.

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if the issue persists.

• Press Windows + X keys and select Control Panel.
• Search Language and select it.
• Left side pane select Advanced settings.
• Under Switching Input methods check mark "Use the desktop language bar when its available."
• Click Save. Check if the issue persists.

Languages bar on taskbar not same with Languages setting

To assist you better regarding your concern, may we know if you have tried removing the said language from the
Language preferences settings and Language settings from
Control panel? If not, kindly do so by following the steps below:

• Type in the word "Language" without the quotation from the Windows search bar.
• Choose Language preferences.
• Choose Language settings from Control
  panel.
