Windows 10: Lansweeper downloaded on my personal laptop

Good morningA program called Lansweeper has been downloaded on my laptop caled Lansweeper. I did not download this program. I am currently not working and when I was working this laptop was never used for work. In fact, this laptop was purchased after I stopped working. Because other unusual programs and/or unfamiliar processes were being noticed I had my laptop analyzed by a company claiming to be a Digial Forensics Co. They forwarded me a list of programs and asked if those programs were known to me and whether or not they were installed by me. The list contained about 6 programs that we

Settings/Personalization

Hi,

We suggest that you follow the steps below to put your settings back to default and see if it helps.

• Right-click your mouse on your desktop.
• Click on Personalize.
• Select Colors.
• Click on High contrast settings.
• From the drop-down menu, select None.
• Click Apply.
• Reboot the PC for the changes to take effect.

Downloaded files disappear


When you download a file through any browser, there's an option somewhere to 'Open Containing Folder.'

In Windows, to find a file you have downloaded...

1. Open your personal folder by clicking the Start button and then clicking your user name at the top of the Start menu's right pane.
   
2. Double-click one of the following folders:
   
   • Downloads
     
   • Documents
     
   • Pictures
     
   • Videos
     
   • Music

If you do not see the file you are looking for, but know its file name, you can search for it by following these steps:
To search for a file you have downloaded...

1. Click the Start button
   
2. Type all or part of the file name into the Search box.
   The file you are looking for will appear in the list of results.
