Windows 10: Lap Top Web Cam Fails after latest windows 10 update!

My web Cam stopped working after latest windows 10 update giving an error below>
0xA000F4271 Media Capture Failed event 0xC00D374


Upon chatting with an advisor it appeared to work OK again, I left our conversation only to find the same problem continues!Can anyone help me, please?

web cam missing upgrading to WIndows 10

I just upgraded my Toshiba lap top to Windows 10 I can't find my web cam, I went into device manager and there is no listing for imaging devive, even went down to usb to see if I if I had a warning sign nothing, what do I do.

Have you updated the drivers for the web cam?

Does this issue occur only on Skype?

I suggest you to install the attest drivers from the manufacturer website and check if it helps.

To install the driver updates follow the below steps.

• 
  Open run command window( Windows key + R) and type devmgmt.msc
  
• 
  Right click on driver and select update driver software.
  
• 
  If the driver updates are not available install it from manufacture website.
