Windows 10: Laptop and games start running terribly after a few hours of heavy gaming

Hi. I am not a tech whiz, I don’t really understand too much about gaming laptops and such, so bear with me please.I have an MSI Gaming Laptop a Stealth 15M A11UEK with an RTX 3060, i7 11th gen and 16GB RAM, 512GB M.2 NVMe SSD and running on Windows 11. I’ve had it for a little under two years Christmas 2021.I recently wiped my laptop clean after having some storage issues that I couldn’t find the root of, and for a while it was okay. I use After Effects on my laptop as well as playing big games like GTAV and Dead by Daylight not together, obviously. Anyway, after this not sure if it’s

I would suggest you to refer the below link and check the compatibility of the game with Windows 10.

You may also try installing the game in compatibility mode.
Follow these steps to install the game software in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

        Right-click on the game setup file and click on
        ‘properties’.
        
      • 
        Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box
        ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.
        

If the issue still persists, I would suggest you to get in touch with the game manufacturer if it’s specific to that particular game.

Unable to run a game on Windows 10.

- When you say 'ive tried troubleshooting', what are you referring to?

- Did you check in compatibility mode?

I suggest to run the game in compatibility mode by following the steps below and check if it helps.

• 
  Right click on the ‘Setup’ icon for the game and click on properties.
  
• 
  Under Compatibility tab, check the option for ‘Run in Compatibility mode’.
  
• 
  Select Windows 8.1 from the drop down list.
  
• 
  Click on Apply and then OK.

My Steam Games, Insurgency, Is Not Able To Start Or Run. Why?

that you may perform to resolve this concern:

Solution 1: Run troubleshooter

The Windows apps troubleshooter can help resolve issues with apps and games downloaded from the Windows Store. In addition, we also suggest running the
Program Compatibility Troubleshooter to help diagnose and resolve compatibility issues encountered when running games on Windows 10. Refer to the following links for the steps:

• Make older programs compatible with this version of Windows

Solution 2: Check for game update

If you've downloaded the game from the Windows Store, kindly search if there are updates available for the game. As for the steps, see

Solution 3: Reset the game from the Settings menu.

• Click Start and click Settings.
• Select System.
• Select Apps & features.
• Find the game and click Advanced options.
• Click Reset.
• Restart your device so that the changes can take effect. Launch the game and check if you'll encounter the same issue.​​

Resetting the game from the Settings menu can help restore corrupted game installation files.

Solution 4: Delete Temporary files

Temporary files are automatically deleted after exiting an application or a game. However, restarting your computer without exiting an active Windows session won't delete temporary files. These files may cause issues running games on Windows 10. To resolve
this, we suggest that you perform the following steps on how to remove temporary files:

• Open the Start menu and select
  Settings > System > Storage.
• Under Storage, select
  This PC > Temporary files.
• Under Temporary files, select
  Delete temporary files > Yes, I'm sure.
  
• Restart your device so that the changes can take effect. Launch the game and check if the same instance occurs.
