Windows 10: Laptop as wifi hotspot downloads are very slow

Good day. I am using my Dell 5540 laptop as a wifi hotspot . when i connect my andoid or onother laptop to the hotspot it connects but the download speed is very slow while upload speed is normal . I get 0.07Mbps doen and 300mbps on upload . My phone and other laptop works fine on other networks ,its only the hotspot that it slow ...All drivers , firmware and bios is up to date.not one post found in 3 days on youtube , reddit or other sites.

Hello Microsoft i purchase Microsoft Lumia 650 mobile. but there is a problem with it's WiFi hotspot it is very slow work in my laptop even i have 4G sim and 4G network selected but the internet speed is only 10 - 30 kb only. please tell me what is the
soluction of this problem.

 

My laptop cannot find my usual hotspot

Thank you for the link. I have tried everything suggested in the link but nothing works.

It actually has nothing to do with any of the steps provided in the link.

My laptop can detect and connect to all my neighbours' wifi, so the network adapter is working just fine.

Using a different laptop and smartphone, they can detect and connect to my phone's wifi hotspot just fine.

The problem is, my laptop which is working just fine, cannot detect and connect to my phone, which is also working just fine.

Sporadically, my laptop can detect my phone's wifi hotspot, but when I click on 'Connect', it is unable to connect. After that, the phone's wifi hotspot disappears from my laptop's list of available wifi.

I'm very sure I didn't change any settings, and no one else has access to my laptop, so I'm not sure why this is happening.
