    Is it normal for my laptop battery to discharge by 15% within two weeks, even though the laptop is shut down, unplugged, and USB is turned off?

    Ever since Windows 10 clean install, laptop battery discharges quickly down to 0% after computer is shut down.

    Ever since I clean-installed Windows 10 on my Dell laptop, the battery discharges to 0% in a matter of hours. It does this every time I do a "shut-down", or "sleep" mode and unplug it.

    It seems the problem is common since I've read other posts on here. I tried fixing the problem that was suggested to no avail.

    I'm now removing the battery completely after "shut-down", and reinstalling it later, and the battery keeps its charge just fine. The laptop and battery is only 1.5 years old.

    Please help.

    Battery discharging

    My laptop is plugged into a docking station but the battery is discharging instead of charging. Any suggestions? Wondering if my docking station is needing to be replaced.

    How to Keep Laptop Battery Alive and Well

    I have something happening with the battery on the 15" laptop running Windows 10 that I don't understand.

    As I said above, I let the battery completely discharge and then plugged in to the wall socket. My plans are to occasionally unplug the electricity and let the battery discharge while I'm using it.

    However, every time I unplug the electricity, I get a runtime error:

    I don't see how just unplugging the computer should give me this error. Any ideas?
