Windows 10: Laptop Battery's Discharge Rate stays the Same all the time

So I got a new laptop HP Aero 13 and wanted to see what the battery discharge was like. Usually I would use battery bar so I downloaded it and it said -9252mW. But it never changed one bit. Never went up or down no matter what.So then I tried BatteryMon, same thing, same number.So then I used Windows performance monitor and got a report in there. Same thing, same number.There's just no way that the actual battery discharge would never change even a tiny bit. It feels like something is "stuck". Does anyone have any idea what might be the problem?

Lumia 520 Discharging rate

I bought a Nokia Lumia 520 few months ago. I always keep the battery saver on to extend the time between two chargings. As a result,the battery app doesn't change the data on the tile automatically,so I open it to see the current battery percentage.

At times when I use streaming media,the battery discharging rate reaches almost 35%,and battery drains in less than three hours. And also,when I stop using the phone at a specific discharging rate (closing all the apps and background tasks),it doesn't reach
the normal values of standby state for hours until I manually open and close the battery app. Only after opening,the discharging rate begins to reach normal values.(eg:I stop using the phone at a discharging rate of 20,closing all the running apps,and after
few hours,the discharging rate still remains at 20%). The phone reaches to a low battery level within few hours with the same discharging rate. But,if I open the battery app and close it after 2-3 minutes,it reaches automatically to the normal discharging
rates, leading to an extended battery time...

what is the error with my phone?how can I correct it?

 

Discharge rate of laptop battery VERY high at idle.

I have an HDD, the HDD is on the opposite corner of the laptop from the CPU, so they're not even close at all. The reason I was talking about AMD ReLive drivers was just for that reason, because I never installed the ReLive drivers on the new partition so
I knew that they weren't sharing drivers. The thing is, after 5 minutes from posting my happiness for fixing the issue, the issue came back and my laptop battery was terrible. At the time of writing this, my laptop has a nice 3 hours and a half of battery
life, because I just turned it on. I believe after 10 minutes my laptop battery should be terrible again. If you don't understand, this is what happened:

• I wrote a reply saying that the old partition was fixed.
• 5 minutes after I posted that, my battery life was terrible again and the fan was on and I had a 33W discharge rate.
• I turned off my laptop because it was midnight and I had school the next day.
• It's now 3:30 PM after school for me at the moment, and my battery life is good AGAIN.
• It didn't turn bad yet, but I'll have to wait and see.

Going through the same issue with my Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro with a SSD. I recently upgraded the SSD and decided to do a fresh install of Windows 8.1 directly from the MS website. My plan was to then go to Lenovo's website to install the needed drivers.

Worked great....freed up a bunch of SSD space. And then I ran the computer on battery only. The consumption was the highest I have ever seen. Average processor usage is under 5%

Before the SSD and clean Windows install I would see around 5,200 mW with wifi off , screen dim, and processor turned to power saving. Now, with the clean install of Windows it idles around 10,000 mW. I put my old SSD back in with the original configuration
and the discharge rates are back to normal.

I have installed every Lenovo driver and nothing works. I even installed Windows 10...didn't help. So, it seems Lenovo has some sort of special sauce software buried in a OEM install that keeps my laptop from gobbling up the battery. I have the Lenovo recovery
SD card so my plan is just to do a Windows install from that so my battery discharge rate stays where it should. Lame but I guess that is the deal with laptops....they are very propriety.
