Windows 10: Laptop becomes extremely laggy for 5-20 seconds, then works as normal, when running low...

Roughly every 5-20 minutes, my laptop becomes unbearably slow for 5-20 seconds, then continues working as normal. The mouse becomes laggy and and any/all operations become very slow like alt+tab to new windows, minimising windows etc.These symptoms don't depend on how long my laptop has been on; the problem occurs soon after booting or if my laptop has been on for a long time. It happens more often when my laptop is under a small amount of stress simple games like new club penguin haha, few tabs of Microsoft Edge or Discord. My laptop is not overheating and the fan appears to be working. T

Laptop gets extremely laggy randomly

Hi,

My laptop which is running windows 10 will randomly get extremely laggy and will only go away after about 30 seconds of waiting or by unplugging and replugging in the power cord. This tends to happen when I'm gaming, but has happened with all kinds of apps. When I'm gaming it happens very often, every 10 minutes or so. I open task manager to see if anything is being used at 100% but the only thing that seems wrong is the application I'm currently using will spike to high power usage, the ram, gpu, cpu, and disk are all fine. I have a high end gaming laptop so it should have 0 issues running the games I do. Additionally, I make sure the power plan is always set to high performance.

Any suggestions for how to fix this issue?

 

Laptop randomly became super laggy and now can’t change brightness

I was on my laptop yesterday and everything was running fine. My laptop is normally slow and games can be a bit laggy, but still bearable. Randomly, it restarted and ever since that, games have been extremely laggy. It lags and glitches in the main menu.
I cant even play games anymore due it turning super laggy out of no where. Additionally, i can no longer change the brightness of my laptop. There’s no way i can change it now. I went on settings and the brightness settings vanished.

Super confused with what happened to my laptop.

 

Very Laggy / buggy Laptop

Hello, My Name's Mariam And my laptop is Very badly Laggy!

So i just Re-installed Windows And

Installed Some of the drivers

But when i Installed Windows I Selected a 199 GB Drive Instead of my Normal C: Drive that had 110 GB

So i have more C: Storage.

But since i installed windows, (on that drive)

1. A Lot Slow Loading (Old booting time : 5 seconds , Old Signing In Time: 4: seconds , New Booting time 1 minute and 10 seconds , New Signing In Time: 2 minutes)
   
2. Icons Don't appear in task bar
   
3. When Opening Applications its a bit late (Lit waited 4 minutes to use Microsoft Edge)
   
4. But Refreshing desktop is EXTREMELY fast
   

is there a way to fix this?

and i already installed my nvidia Drivers and intel's

But still.

Can you help me?
