    Laptop becoming unresponsive, audio loop, requires hard restart to fix


    Hi all, I need help with a very serious issue. My laptop, for the past couple months, has been, as stated above, experiencing lag, becoming audioloop-unresponsive, and requiring a hard switch restart every time. Sometimes the computer will do this even in the startup, and the operating system will fail to load. Here is a list of the relevant information, and what I've already tried to correct the issue.

    Laptop: ASUS VivoBook X540SA-BPD0602V with: 500GB SATA HDD, 4GB installed RAM, Intel Pentium processor, 128MB VRAM, integrated GPU.
    OS: Windows 10 Home Insider Preview Build 16251.1000

    Attempts to fix:

    Chkdsk FAILED
    SFC scan FAILED
    Windows Memory Diagnostic FAILED
    BIOS configuration modification FAILED
    PC Reset (keep files) FAILED
    PC Reset (remove files, no TPM reset) FAILED
    PC Reset (remove files and reset TPM) FAILED
    Disk defragmentation FAILED
    Debug FAILED
    Remove paging file restrictions FAILED
    File System Repair FAILED
    System Restore FAILED
    System Disc Image Repair FAILED
    New Installation FAILED
    Install previous build FAILED
    Driver updates FAILED
    Temp files cleared FAILED

    At this point, I have no idea what to do. If there was any way to research how to fix it, it's so unusable, I can't even access the internet. In fact, I'm posting this from my mobile phone because I have no other choice. And no, I can't flash the BIOS. These problems started hitting en masse after I received BSOD CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED on Build 16215.

    I really need help, but I'm also convinced it's a piece of trash and its time to get an upgrade. Advice is greatly needed and appreciated.

    lenovo yoga 11s crash on recovery from sleep

    Lenovo Yoga 11s becomes unresponsive on waking from sleep mode. Used principally in laptop mode, tries to return in tablet mode but fails to mount entire desktop. Taskbar has back arrow and windows logo, but neither respond to input. Action center does
    not open.

    Problem occurs 60% of time waking computer from sleep mode, requires hard shutdown / restart.

    Windows Issues with Video and Audio

    I found the main issue. Web client and Windows Audio services become unresponsive after I put the computer to sleep. I can usually restart the web services but not the audio which completely freezes. How can I solve this because it always happens?

    Hi, you've not mentioned what sort of disk you have.

    Please check your disk. Download and run Hard disk sentinel (trial) and post a screenshot of its GUI.

    I assume you've not been using disk imaging routinely as we repeatedly and strongly recommend- this allows people to recover quickly without technical help from many problems- even ransomware and a failed disk.

    It also provides a backup. E.g. Macrium Reflect (free) + its boot medium + external storage for disk images.
