    Laptop beeps sometimes while trying to turn it on and sometimes keys are automatically...


    Sometimes my Laptop beeps and doesn't start, sometimes it beeps for 2-5 minutes and then starts and sometimes it starts smoothly.Also I have noticed that when power is low it beeps and when I try starting it after charging for a while, it starts smoothly, without beeping.Apart from this, I have also noticed that sometimes any one key gets pressed automatically. But sometimes everything runs smoothly. Also, there is not any specific key or keys that are found pressed.For example, one day 'windows' key was pressed, some days diff. alphabets are found pressed and for last 2-3 days '-' key is gett

    laptop doesnt boot automatically

    This is what happened.

    1. Did a repair install and later disabled hibertnate in CMD.
    2. Enabled legacy option ROM in BIOS.
    3. After a few times startup ( i used the system in such mode for 5 days), changed boot option back to default.
    4. Vola!! It boots automatically to win10 without any keypress. Tested it with many starts to confirm the same.
    5. Re-enabled hibernate option using CMD and later selected Fast Startup.
    6. System booted normally, without the need for any keypress.

    I do not know exactly whether such steps resolved the problem or what else happened, hence cannot suggest above steps.

    no beeps at bootup

    When i turn it on the fans do spin, I tried DanTheBanjoman's suggestion and no beeps I took ram out and no beeps, I took battery and ram out and still no beeps I even tried a video card and still no beeps.

    Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.

    I suggest you to follow the below step to “Turn off the Sticky keys”
    and check if the beep sound stops.

    Turn it off from Ease of Access Center

    1. Press
    “Windows+X” and choose Control Panel to access it.

    2. Select
    Ease of Access in Control Panel.

    3. Click
    Change how your keyboard works in the Ease of Access window.

    4. Uncheck the box before
    Turn on Sticky Keys and click OK.

    5. Now check whether you get any beep sound while pressing any keys.
