I have turned off automatic display brightness and I don't think it is a display hardware issue as when I started the BIOS i didn't have any changes in brightness. I got an old Lenovo Ideapad Yoga 13 windows 8 i5-3337U and 4gb ram working after maybe a year of non-usage. The battery is fine it works after unplugging the charger also. Now that those details are out of the way here is the problem.Now the problem is that as soon as I start the laptop the brightness just decreases in steps all the way to zero. Why does my Enter and Backspace act weirdly?

I have an Asus X540-YA laptop, and sometimes when I press the Backspace, instead of deleting the character, it writes down the combination of "74321", and sometimes some dots as well. Same thing with my Enter, sometimes it just types "nbz" instead of jumping
a line when typing. I have tried to restore my Windows 10 the the original settings and re-install a driver ASUS sent me, but it did not help. Any suggestions what could cause it, or what could I do?

For the brightness issue that you're experiencing, we suggest that you follow the steps given below:

• Perform a soft reset to refresh your device. Press and hold Volume Down+Power
  button until phone vibrates and restarts.
