    Laptop built-in display black "Device not migrated" error

    Hello. I've bought an ASUS TUF Gaming A17 FA706IH-H7050T at the beginning of October. On November 5th, my laptop display went black. I've turned on my laptop normally, and the screen was black. No ASUS logo, no nothing. So I've connected it to my TV using an HDMI cable.

    After doing some research I've discovered the following event on Device Manager > Monitor > General PnP Monitor > Events:

    Device DISPLAY\VES3700\5&dba6430&1&UID256 was not migrated due to partial or ambiguous match.
    Last Device Instance Id: DISPLAY\BOE08BE\5&dba6430&0&UID0
    Class Guid: {4d36e96e-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}
    Location Path:
    Migration Rank: 0xF000FFFF0000F100
    Present: false
    Status: 0xC0000719

    After searching on Google about this I've discovered that this is a bug if I'm not mistaking, I'm not good at tech stuff caused by Windows 10 updates and drivers. On my update history I've discovered that I had a Windows update from November 1st which I think that caused the problem.

    I've used the Reset option from the settings and I think that now I have an older version of Windows 10, my screen is still black. My drivers are all installed from the Asus website and up to date.

    I've also done the /scannow thing, didn't solve the issue.

    I want to mention that in Settings > Display my laptop cannot recognise its own display at all! It only shows me my TV which is connected to my laptop using an HDMI cable. So it is like its own built-in display was erased from it, it's like my laptop thinks that my TV is it's own display. What can I do? It doesn't even show the ASUS logo at start up, it is completely dead after just one month since I've bought it! I didn't have any other issues with it besides this. Please, help me!

    Laptop display question

    Confusing statement! You want to change the display on your laptop that died?

    Is that correct?

    How do you know its the display that's bad?

    Just google "how to change display on a acer 5745"

    Should get you to step by step instructions. But first make sure its the display that's bad
