Windows 10: laptop cannot restart after turning on the memory integrity.

When I turned on the memory integrity option, it said I had to restart, but the problem is that my laptop could not turn on after the restart; it just went to the black screen, and all fans in laptops run at full capacity.then i turn off the laptop by using power button and memory integrity was off that time.so, i did this 2 times and every time laptop could not turn on.

I've joined the Windows Insider Programme and updated my laptop to 22H2 as this appeared to be the only thing listed that I didn't currently have. It's installed, but when I tried to switch on Memory Integrity from the settings it still scans for incompatible drivers, doesn't seem to find any and then says it needs to restart. And again once I press restart it gets to the Medion logo (just before the windows screen appears) but just hangs there.

On the suggestion you've linked above, Option 2 is "Refresh or Reinstall Windows Defender". Now if I follow this step and delete the Windows Defender folder in the registry as suggested, do I need to reinstall or will Windows do this automatically when I restart? I don't want to go deleting the folder and then finding that I've shot myself in the foot so to speak.

I tried Option 2 and unfortunately this hasn't worked either, my laptop still hangs on the Medion logo without loading Windows after reset. I have to hold the power button to turn off and restart, then it loads Windows succesfully but still with Memory Integrity off.

Option 3 doesn't seem to be the problem as it's not detecting any incompatible drivers.

 

Memory Integrity Turn On, Computer will not restart

I turned on Memory Integrity. The system checked for incompatible Drivers. None were found. I then got the dialog box asking if I want to allow app to make changes to computer. I clicked on "Yes". I the got the dialog box saying the computer needs to restart. I clicked on "Restart". The computer shut down and began restart. Computer would not restart. I had to use hard switch to stop computer and then restart. Memory Integrity still off. I tried again bypassing the "Restart" dialog, using the the restart function in "Start". This way the computer restarted. Memory Integrity still off.

I am using Windows 11 on HP Stream Laptop.

 

Memory Integrity Makes laptop stuck restarting

When I try to turn Memory integrity on and restart my laptop I get stuck at the restart screen.

I have tried autoruns and disabling drivers and I have tried an in-place upgrade, still memory integrity is off, and I get stuck restarting.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
