    Laptop can't see main PC even though PC can see laptop


    Both rigs running Win 10 20H2 build 19042.1052. I am able to access the internet from the laptop and I managed to share a printer that is connected to the PC with the laptop. For about eight months I've been attempting to set up a home network for file sharing with my custom PC and a HP laptop. Netgear 6400 router. I have looked at every thread available on network setup. I've shared the folders on the PC I want to and I've shared the folders on the laptop. From the PC I can see the laptop's shared folders and can move files. From the laptop I cannot see the PC. I can do internet and print to the printer that is attached to the PC. I have checked and double checked every recommended setting from just about every thread on this forum and nothing works; the PC doesn't appear. I am beyond frustrated. I don't even know what questions to ask anymore. Should I delete all the network settings on the laptop and start over? I am afraid of losing the internet and printer connections forever. Any suggestions would be gratefully received. Thank you.

    FAST - Laptop to PC

    Can FAST (File and Settings Transfer Wizard) be used to migrate files from a Laptop to a PC? I have this friend who needs his E-mail, Client database, etc. moved from his Laptop to a PC. Can someone tell me how easy this is to do with FAST and what the steps I should take to perform this procedure? Thanks.

    If FAST can't be used can someone recommend a free Transfer Wizard? I guess I could manually do it, but I don't want to mess up and have him blaming me for god know how long.

    Intenet conenction on laptop and pc

    I want to use internet on laptop and pc.
    As i am connecting laptop through wireless router. but my pc don't have wireless receiver. Is it possible that i connect a lan cable to laptop and pc and internet work on the pc also. As wireless router or modem is in other room.

    Wireless router-> wireless laptop->laptop lan -> pc lan

    IF yes please guide.
