Windows 10: laptop charger gets auto cut of f when its 100 % ,its not getting direct power when battery...

laptop charger gets auto cut off when its 100 % ,its not getting direct power when battery is full? again its starting to charge when battery is down to 99% . i am using windows 10 build 1083 - acer predator


Tried updating BIOS also troubleshooting and also uninstalling battery drivers from device manager .

Battery Charger for a Dell Laptop

At the shop we work at, costumer's sometimes actually forget the charger for us to work on there laptop, so we use this mega 15-20v changing laptop charger with 15+ adapters on a strip for all kinds of laptops. Its shifty but it chargers laptops and keeps them running pretty well.

Id get the exact charger though so you don't end up breaking your laptop battery over time.

 

Stuck in Reboot loop after power cut

We understand your concern and appreciate the time and effort that you have invested in to fix the issue.

Before we proceed, I would like you to state which troubleshooting steps have you performed bedsides the mentioned to fix the issue.

As per the description, I suspect that you might be stuck in a reboot loop. I suggest that you perform Power Drain and check if it helps

• Unplug the charger and remove the battery of your laptop, if using a desktop remove the power cord.
• Press and hold the Power button for 30sec
• Plug the charger/power cord and restart system

Battery Charger for a Dell Laptop

My friend just gave me a Dell Inspiron 600M Laptop which did work last time he used it, but that was a couple years ago. He no longer has the battery charger for it and I know I can easily buy another one for it. I have two questions: Could there be any long-term effects to the battery for not being charged for over a year or 2? ....and (this is a long shot) would the battery charger from my old Gateway Laptop work on this Dell 600M?
