    Laptop Clicking and 500 Hours To “Fix” C: Drive


    Hello, about 8 hours ago something went wrong with my C: drive, so windows decided to try and fix the problem, which doesn’t bother me at all. But why I am here right now is why it says it will take around 500 hours to fix... I am confused.

    What should I try to do in this situation? Also, as mentioned in the title, my pc is making clicking sounds as well

    C: Drive Admin Share Keeps Enabling

    Thank you for your response.



    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.


    • Press Windows +E,

    • Right click on C: drive.

    • Select Sharing Tab.

    • Click on Advanced Sharing.

    • Uncheck “Share this folder”.

    storage .........c drive is increased to 500 gb........but how?

    harddisk with 500 GB total

    I divided it into 4 partitions and only my C drive is showing 500 GB.

    why is it showing 500 GB?
