Windows 10: Laptop completely blocked BitLocker after auto Windows Update

Hello,I have a serious issue with my laptop after auto-update. Upon launching it a window pooped out asking for BitLocker 48-digits key password. I followed instructions and was able to find it on my Microsoft account. After this I can see "preparing auto repair" announcement and then I have two options: turn off computer and troubleshooting. In troubleshooting I have options: system restore, system image recovery, uninstall updates and repair on startup. None of these are working. 1. Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

We suggest doing the following steps again to resolve the issue. To complete the procedure, make sure that you have the following information:

• You must be able to provide administrative credentials.
• The drive must be BitLocker-protected.

To suspend BitLocker Drive Encryption on an operating system drive, please follow the steps below:

• Click Start, click Control Panel, click
  System and Security, and then click BitLocker Drive Encryption.
• Click Suspend Protection for the operating system drive.
• A message is displayed, informing you that your data will not be protected while BitLocker is suspended and asking if you want to suspend BitLocker Drive Encryption.
  
• Click Yes to continue and suspend BitLocker on the drive.
