Windows 10: Laptop Crashes - Blue Screen Error Code 124

Crash/blue screen

Hi

I assume from the title of your post Crash/Blue Screen that the PC has crashed and produced a *BSOD=[Blue Screen Of Death] =Blue Screen; and that the PC recovered from this; if and when you see the Blue Screen write the Stop Code down; recover the PC or use one that is working to access the net and look up the Stop Code.

nb: You may be able to view this with a [*BlueScreenView] application, google for this.

BlueScreenView scans all your minidump files created during 'blue screen
of death' crashes, and displays the information about all crashes in one
table. For each crash, BlueScreenView displays the minidump filename, the
date/time of the crash, the basic crash information displayed in the blue
screen (Bug Check Code and 4 parameters), and the details of the driver
or module that possibly caused the crash (filename, product name, file
description, and file version).
For each crash displayed in the upper pane, you can view the details of
the device drivers loaded during the crash in the lower pane.
BlueScreenView also mark the drivers that their addresses found in the
crash stack, so you can easily locate the suspected drivers that possibly
caused the crash.

I understand that your assembled machine crashed without any blue screen or error code, there may be a hardware failure, memory issue or software factor that may be causing the crash, we need to determine more information to be able to pinpoint the problematic action for you:

• What are you usually doing when a device crashes?
  
• Did the hardware make any noises, overheat, etc. at the time of the crash?
  

Sometimes dump logs still record previous system activity and error messages. These logs are very useful for diagnosing system problems and can help determine the root cause of the problem, you can try to collect them by following the steps below.

Steps to get the error log: Left click on "Start" - "Settings" - on the left menu bar click on "System " - "System Information" - "Advanced System Settings" - "Startup and Repair "In the "Settings" option box - Adjust the "Write Error Message" to "Memory Dump". - Click "OK", then when the BSOD error occurs again, the system will automatically collect the error message and store it in the Minidump folder under the C drive, and you can share this file to the cloud with me.

Please also right-click the Start icon, select Event Viewer, check each list in Windows Logs and check if there are any errors or warnings around the time of the crash. If there are any errors or warnings, you can take a screenshot and share it with me.
