Windows 10: Laptop crashes on load.

Is that correct- and is it currently configured as RAID0?

I'm not an expert on RAID, but this simple diagram
RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, RAID 10 Explained with Diagrams

shows you will have a major issue in replacing a drive.
You should consult your manufacturer on this/check carefully.

Further, if you have a failing drive, disk imaging at this point will likely fail - you can try it of course.
But that means any form of imaging/cloning won't work.

An initial scan from a search on
replacing a drive in RAID0
indicates you will face significant difficulty.

Note this:
hard drive - Replace a failing disk in a RAID 0 array - Super User
2 down vote Unless the new disk is identical, then it could have a different number of platters, cylinders, heads, etc. Which may throw out the RAID array. If the RAID array is still working, backup it up first and try cloning it. If it fails, you can reset your RAID array and try a restore.

- and that's if all is working.

I would suggest:
1. Confirm using a surface scan that you do indeed have a problem
2. Do as much as you can to back up what you have now

Do you already have any disk images or system backups using Windows Backup and Restore?

ok, got a new Hard Drive, a SSD one. And I still get the crashes, i did a IntelProcess Diagnostic and got this fail.

Hi, good you've got a specific message - the solution may be to re-install Intel rapid storage.

If you search for part of that message e.g.

where it's discussed. Hope you can find a solution there as this is very Intel specific.

 

I fixed that, but the laptop keeps crashing on its own. I don't k ow what to do now....

 

Can you confirm you've done a clean install onto your new drive?

How much have you installed since then?

Please describe the crash. Can you boot to normal mode? Do you get an error message?

Have a look at your reliability history and see if there are any helpful reports.
(Type relia into Cortana's search field, click on reliability history).

 

Yes it's a clean Windows install with new hard drive, I only installed 2 games before the crashes. When I am playing one of my games or just messing on the laptop, the darn thing will power off completely, and will auto turn on and boot it's self. Will report what reliability says.

 

Can my power supply for my laptop go bad? I have a battery in it but still shuts off the laptop

 

It looks like you've a hardware problem. This may - just may- have caused your hard disk problem.

It looks like your PC suddenly switches off - sudden click/black screen - is that what you see?

The problem is that you now don't have a clean install- if you had tested your laptop with a clean install, we'd have a better idea if it was one of your games crashing it. But that's unlikely given how it's shutting down improperly.

I can't read your reliability history further as I can't click on those x's. Only you can do that- have a look at what it says in more detail. However it appears your PC is suddenly shutting down abnormally.

Have you recently added any RAM?

Is your PC still in warranty?
