Windows 10: Laptop Crashes when kept Idle on Battery for 10 mins

Hello Guys, Since the past few months I have been experiencing this weird issue of my Laptop Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 crashing when I keep it Idle for like 10 mins or so. The more weird thing is that this does not happen when I keep it on charge. I have already check all the user available settings such as "Power Options" and "Turn off Display", I have everything set to "never".Refer to the attached screenshot. Any reasons or possible explanations of what's going on under the hood?

HP Pavilion laptop crashes with full battery

Hello, My HP Pavilion 15t-cs200 laptop (running Windows 10 64-bit) crashes within minutes if I unplug it. It crashes without any warning. It does not appear to be a battery usage or battery level problem. The battery (an OEM replacement for the original) appears to be at full health and full charge. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

1. Shutdown your laptop.

2. Remove the battery.

3. Connect the AC power adapter to your laptop.

4. Power on the laptop

5. Open the Device Manager by typing Devmgmt.msc into Start Menu or from Control Panel.

6. Under the Batteries category, right-click all of the Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery listings, and select Uninstall (it’s okay if you only have 1).

7. Shutdown the laptop.

8. Insert the battery.

9. Power on the laptop.

If above suggestions wont resolve the battery charge issue then follow below steps.




Step 2

1. Shutdown the laptop.

2. Remove the battery.

3. Start the laptop with only AC adapter connected to laptop.

4. When you login to Windows OS connect the battery while Windows OS working.

You might have to re-calibrate the battery, some times the option is in the bios, or an application in windows. another way is to talk the battery out of the laptop and leave it out 10-15 mins, this usually reset the the internal power manager.
