Windows 10: Laptop crashes whenever i plug in my jack to usb adaptor

I just changed headphones and needed an adapter, but whenever i plug it in it makes my computer crash, i have 2 usb ports on my computer, both clean and not damaged, and i have tried plugging it on on both but it still crashes.My computer hasnt had problems exept the eventual bug and i have reset my computer a few months ago.What should i do?Asus Zenbook 13Adaptor WeFix French high tech brand

USB-C adaptor

I have recently purchased an HP laptop with windows 10 software. The laptop deos not have a VGA point, and as I often use projectors with VGA adaptors I purchased an apple USB-C to VGA adaptor thats connects via the USB - C socket on the side of the laptop.
Unfortunately it keeps saying display connection is limited. Sadly it does not connect and display the VGA connection.

Any thoughts/suggestions welcome?

Your sound driver may have options to enable/disable jacks based on what's plugged in the front/rear. For instance, my Realtek driver has:





As for removing the broken plug it would depend on how far in it broke and how tight the jack is. I don't have any personal experience but there are a number of suggestions if you Google for "how to remove broken 3.5mm jack."
