    Hello everyone, found this great forum and really hoping i can get some help. Thanks in advance!

    I have an ASUS N551ZU, gaming laptop from 2015. IT has been working great...overheated but great. So I installed a new SSD and put the HD in a caddy disk. Also I replaced the thermal paste and it worked. Now it doesnt go beyond 90 degrees which is great news.
    BUT, theres a problem. When gaming after 10 minutes it crashes, turns off.
    I did a stability test and when I do a GPU stress it crashes, this happened after the SSD change though. I have installed latest firmware and drivers updates.

    Hi,

    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

    Please reply to the following questions to help you further:

    • Have you installed Windows in SSD or in HDD?
    • How are you moving the applications to SSD?
    • What is the error code/message you get when the computer crashes?

    In the meantime, I suggest you to refer the troubleshooting steps in the article
    Fix problems with apps from Microsoft Storeand see
    if that helps in resolving the issue.

    You can also, download the Chipset and Storage drivers from the manufacturer website of the motherboard and update them.

    Fresh Install of Windows 10 Home in new SSD

    I have this Dell N4010 Laptop that I want to upgrade with an SSD and use the existing HDD as Data drive. I have an original windows of digital license.

    Please suggest how I can install a fresh copy of the windows in my new SSD with the existing license. And please suggest how to activate the new installation of Windows.

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
