Windows 10: Laptop crashing and rebooting with popping sound

Today I was playing Team Fortress 2 on my laptop when it suddenly crashed with a blue screen and a popping noise coming from inside of the computer it couldn't have been the speakers as I had headphones on, also I couldn't see what the blue screen said as it rebooted near instantly when I signed back in their was no issues, I checked for malware and found nothing, so I checked online and figured maybe one of capacitors popped, but it said that their should have been some sort of bad smell and it was perfectly fine. ive watch my temps and both the cpu and gpu are within normal ranges. when it freezes it simply freezes the image and stops the sound. i must reboot to get back to windows.

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

 

Popping sound on laptop boot up

I own a Dell Inspiron i5577-7342BLK-PUS.

There seems to be a popping sound on boot, and it doesn't happen if the speakers are muted and I reboot. Is this normal, and will it damage the laptop? I sometimes forget to mute the speakers before a reboot or shutdown of the laptop, so this "popping"
sound plays. It seems to vary with the speaker volume I have set, but this has not been tested. Any help is appreciated!
