Windows 10: Laptop dead, how do I get support for a return?

As the question says, my laptop has suffered a terminal failure. Indeed, it was basically dead on arrival. How do I tell MS? Who do I contact? How do I return it? It is under warranty. All I want is an email address for someone at MS in Canada who will tell me where I should send this machine to return it. I rang the 'help' number and they pointed me back to the help link on the website. But there is no 'help' to be found there.All the support / help is for a machine where there is a base level of functionality, mine has none. No keyboard, no mouse, no camera, no internet... and because of tha

- Are you able the see light when you turn on the laptop?

I suggest you to do a power drain by following the steps below.

• 
  Remove the battery.
  
• 
  Long press the power button for 15-20 seconds.
  
• 
  Start the computer by connecting the power source (battery should not be connected).
  
• 
  Check if the problem still persists while shutting down the computer.
  
• 
  If not, then connect the battery and can use the computer.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

B3 Phenom support

I checked gigabyte's site on my GA-M57 and it didn't say anything about b3 stepping update, but all of the x3 chips are b3 steppings, so just use the x3 support bios if available.
