    Laptop destroyed in flood, how do I access my files stored in OneDrive


    I believe that my files were being sync-ed to the "cloud" = OneDrive.I can't see them there only some old docs from my de-commissioned laptop from a few years ago.How do I locate them?There were lots as I was kept being asked on the device HP Pavilion to buy more OneDrive space.Included I presume music, pics, docsHelpNeilLismore NSW

    Access files cached locally in OneDrive for Business

    Hi Community!

    I have left my old company and I would like to know if there is a way to access the files I had stored in OneDrive for Business? I can see/explore the files in OneDrive synced and stored on my personal machine but cannot open them due to permission restraints. Are there any tools/suggestions to remove those permissions and open the files without having to contact my old IT?

    Windows 10 Pro 1903 64bit

    LAPTOP is not accessible ..... Access is denied.

    I am trying to share a folder on a LAPTOP. I have other a number of other systems that have folders Shared and they work fine, but with this one I get the error "LAPTOP is not accessible ..... Access is denied." when I try to access it from a different Win10 system. So I went thru the entire "How to Share Files and Folders Over a Network in Windows 10" tutorial step by step. File and Print Sharing is enabled, SMB1.0 client & server are running, and Everyone has Full Access to the Share. Still get the error. I have tried it with the Network Public and Private, with the same result. Any suggestions ?

    Windows 10 - OneDrive

    Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

    If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.
