Windows 10: Laptop dies quickly and heats up after getting POWER_DRIVER_STATE_FAILURE BSOD

I have an MSI alpha A4DEK laptop. This started over a month ago. My laptop randomly would start heating up and dying within 45 minutes It would last 5-6 hours the day prior and after a bit I decided to get a new battery, since the laptop is 3.5 years old, and I thought low battery health made perfect sense. I installed the battery and there was no change, until I restarted my laptop twice and viola, no heating up and an estimated 4-5 hours of life. Thought it was fixed. The next day after using the laptop on battery for ~10 mins, a bsod came up with POWER_DRIVER_STATE_FAILURE, and the laptop

Hi,
I've just reinstall my system - clear windows 7 pro install and free upgrade up to win 10 pro.

Unfortunately, I'm getting power_driver_state_failure bsods from time to time. Could you please take a look on my logs and give some advice?

Windows 10 Update and POWER_DRIVER_STATE_FAILURE

Hi,

My windows 10 has to update but it always takes way too long and in the end it doesn't even end up updating and returns my PC to the way it was at the start. Anybody knows what I should do to make sure my PC updates?

Secondly often my PC will have the BSOD with the code POWER_DRIVER_STATE_FAILURE I know to fix it you have to go into safe mode and go to device manager and uninstall the drivers that have
a yellow triangle beside themStill of the drivers will not uninstall and even if they do I still get the BSOD. Any ideas?

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
