    Laptop Display goes blank every time after Windows 10 is updated.


    Problem:

    Windows 10 OS on my laptop gets updated at night during inactive hours and in morning when I open the laptop lid I see a blank screen !!

    There is no power issue as I can see back led lights on near the edges of the screen.

    When I connect a display to the HDMI port I can see the login screen from where I can logon and then restart and the laptop display starts working as normal even after disconnecting the HDMI display.

    So this happens only after Windows Update !!!

    OS: Windows 10 Home freshly installed

    NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M LE

    Version: 425.31


    Optimus Technology to switch between Intel Graphics and Nvidia Graphics card.

    Is it time for Windows 10 already?

    I can't get update KB3035583 on my windows 7 SP1 laptop, also I was missing the optional language packs updates, I have tried "resetting" windows updates Windows Update - Reset - Windows 7 Help Forums and I have tried stopping and restarting the windows update service, did not help.
    Would anyone have a suggestion on how to get this KB3035583 update? It's genuine windows 7 SP1 home premium.

    Edit: Is this windows 10 upgrade only for people who bought (a computer with) windows 7 SP 1?
    I bought this laptop with windows 7.

    Display goes blank when updating driver

    Hi!

    I have a Dell XPS 13. For the past month my display has been going blank when it runs on Intel Iris graphics driver, but has been working with a Windows basic Display Adapter. I have tried reinstalling OS, downloaded driver from Dell Support assist and directly
    from Intel too. As soon as I update the driver every time the display goes blank.

    Can someone please help solve this issues?
