Windows 10: Laptop display has a "vignette" effect when un-dimming the screen after inactivity

I'm having a very strange issue with my laptop that I've never seen before, anywhere. I have an Asus Zenbook Q420V with an Intel Core i7-13700h, using Intel Iris graphics. When Windows 11 automatically dims the screen due to inactivity, re-awakening the display by wiggling the mouse or pressing a key gives the display a vignette effect, where the edges of the display are darker than the middle of the display. I've tinkered around in MyASUS, Intel Graphics Command Center, Windows settings, and even tried Control Panel. No setting seems to get rid of this bug.In my efforts to fix this issue, I n

Screen Display Dim

Since I updated to the new windows 10 version, my display is quite dim. I go into settings to adjust it and it will not let me. The brightness is at full and the screen is at about 20%.

Suggestions to fix?

 

How to dim screen?

I tried googling Windows Ten, "how to dim screen," but the layout listed is not the layout I have. I just got Ten yesterday. How do you dim the screen?

I can't even find the options in the Display section.
